Prince Igor Productions, Inc. was established in January, 2003 by indie filmmaker Frank Nemecek.

Our Business

Over the past several years, we have been involved in 27 different film and video projects.  Our projects have included film festivals, documentaries, training videos, short films and commercials.

Film Festivals

Prince Igor Productions is pleased to curate some outstanding film festivals in the Detroit area.  We are responsible for Cinema D: The Detroit Film Festival, which brings a series of independently made short films and features to Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit as part of 4th Fridays with Ford.

It was also our pleasure to curate the film portion of the Detroit Fringe Festival.  We were also proud to be an important part of the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival.

Who We Are

Prince Igor is a Russian opera that was composed by Alexander Borodin.  It was first performed on November 4, 1890 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Prince Igor Productions, Inc. was named after this legendary opera.
